1. What is the Church Planting Team (CPT)?

The church planting team (CPT) is the team that works on establishing the new church plant. The team meets regularly to pray and discuss everything that is involved in setting up the church. The team was formed in January 2022 and you can see who the team members are in our January 2022 Newsletter.

2. Where is the church going to be? Have we got a building already?

We have managed to secure Truganina South East community centre as a venue for us to start our gathering in the west. This is not the venue where the church will launch its Sunday services in the future. We are still hoping to find a venue in the northwest aspect of Tarneit for this. However, we praise God for providing the venue for the launch team will start gathering monthly from mid this year. (What is 'the launch team’? See the next question.)

Meanwhile, the CPT continues exploring some venue options for our future Sunday services. One of the options is to purchase a site if there are available properties and finance. Another option is to hire a local community centre or a school premise.

3. What is the Launch Team (LT)?

The launch team (LT) is the initial members of the new church. It is a group of people who have committed to be part of and serve in the new church as the church launches, hence the term ‘launch team.’ The launch team will initially meet once a month from mid this year to build up the new church community and to learn to grow as disciples and be on mission together.

We are currently recruiting the launch team members. If you are keen to be part of the initial members of the new church, please register your expression of interest. You are then invited to attend an information session where we explain the DNA of the church, what it means for you to be part of the launch team, how we will organise the new church community, etc.

4. I want to join the church. How and when do we meet?

5. I would like to donate. How can I do that? Where does the money go?
